Here’s a shrine box I recently finished, I reused a mint tin and painted it brown and then added book pages from a vintage French text book to the insides and front. I added a small metal frame with a picture of the Eiffel Tower on the front of the box. On the inside left did a collage with some torn vintage travel tickets, postage stamp and postage cancellation rubber stamp. On the right side I did a collage of a woman standing in front of the Eiffel Tower wearing a big lovely hat, I added words from the French book that say “Yes, it’s a beautiful hat”, another postage cancellation and a souvenir sticker.

Hi, Heather! Very cute! 🙂
Heather –
I just love this! I’ve been meaning to attempt making one of these, but never have gotten around to it. You may just have inspired me.
Thanks
