I used stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird for this sweet Fairy Friendship card. I used Tri-Blend markers from Spectrum Noir to color my images. This card is perfect for birthdays, thank you or Valentine’s Day cards.
I used shimmery watercolor paints to create a rainbow background for this fun birthday card. I also die cut and colored 6 of the Whittle Panda dies from Poppy Stamps in a row across the front.
Here are my last Mermaid themed cards for Mer-May. I’ve made two more card using the Seas the Day stamps and dies from Hello Sweetums. They are an Australian based company but not to worry if you’re in the US you can get them on-line at Simon Says Stamp and Butterfly Reflections Ink.
For my first card shown above I created a fun scene inspired by The Little Mermaid during the “Under the Sea” scene, using the seaweed to create a wreath around my mermaid adding in all the sea creatures and shells swimming around. I colored my images with alcohol based markers and white heat embossed my sentiment.
For my next card I wanted it to look like you were looking out of a porthole on a submarine at a mermaid swimming by and being a Beatles fan I used yellow cardstock for a Yellow Submarine. I made my porthole with 2 concentric circle dies and brads. Opening the card shows the entire underwater scene inside on an ink blended background with torn cardstock sand. I colored my images with alcohol based markers adding touches with a white gel pen.
I made this fun Easter bunny candle paper crafting project using dies from Mama Elephant. Wouldn’t it be cute to make a bunch in different colors for the center of your Easter table?
I love that Gingham is so trendy right now! These pretty Gingham Gala papers go perfectly with the sweet spring animals in the Fable Friends stamp set from Stampin Up. I filmed a video showing how I made this cute squirrel card. Click here to watch it on Youtube or view it down below.
I can’t stop making Valentine’s Day cards with the new Hey Love stamps set from Stampin’ Up, it’s just so cute! For this card I used the otter stamp along with some new dies, the Stitched Rectangle and Be Mine Stitched dies too. I made a little stencil for my wave and are using those new blending brushes again.
I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about some new ink blending brushes from Picket Fence Studio called Life Changing Brushes. I’ve also hear a lot of talk about dupes that are much less expensive and made for make-up application. I found a set of 10 on Ebay for only $6 so I decided to give them a try. I think they work really well and used them to make this cute Valentine Skunk card using the Hey Love stamps and Stitched Heart dies from Stampin’ Up too.
Christmas is almost here! If you’ve grabbed a gift card at the last minute for a gift here’s a cute way to wrap it up. I made this polar bear shaped gift card holder using the Gift Bag Add On Bear dies from Mama Elephant. It would also be great for someone with a winter birthday.
