I’m so excited about the new products in the Stampin’ Up Occasions catalog for 2019, so much cute stuff! One of my fave sets is “Hey Love”, it’s got so many cute critters to make Valentine’s Day cards. I made this fun Gorilla card and filmed a video tutorial for it. The challenge over at the Lawnscaping blog is to make a card inspired by one of the design team members, I chose Audrey, I love her use of pattern papers, making cute scenes and she uses grass a lot, which I like to do too.
For my card I used the Critters at the Dog Park stamp set from Lawn Fawn, this cute little pooch is in love with the fire hydrant 🙂
One of the few remaining magazine devoted completely to rubber stamping is The Stamper’s Sampler. I recently posted a review of their latest Winter issue along with a card inspired by Tim Holtz, who is the featured artist. For those in the KY area I’m teaching a stamping card class this month at Raintree Gallery in Versailles, it’s near the bypass to Frankfort at 240B Crossfield Drive, Versailles, KY 40383. They have a nice large class room space.
Class this month is for Valentine and Love cards on Sat. Jan 19th, there is a 10-12 time OR a 1-3 time, $15 for 4 cards (as usual all you need to bring is scissors, bone folder and adhesive). Cut off date to sign up is one week before the class, space is limited.
