The current challenge over on the Lawn Fawnatics blog is “Anything But a Card”. I created this gift tag for Father’s Day using the Lawn Fawn Gnome Sweet Gnome and Toadally Awesome stamp sets along with their Woodgrain Background die. I’m also using some new additions to my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers, the Vintage Blends set to color my images.

Each May artists on Instagram create mermaid themed projects for #MerMay. I love mermaids so I try to create at least one mermaid card each May. This one was made using a digital stamp and a Glaminator Foiling Machine. I love the shimmer foils can add to digital stamps. It also makes them easy to color because the foiling can’t smear.
I don’t normally do simple cards but I want to challenge myself to create some. I used the Garden Friends stamp set from Crafter’s Companion with Arteza Real Brush Pens to watercolor and create two clean and simple cards for Mother’s Day. Using brown instead of black ink helps giving a softer storybook look.
I wanted to create some Thank You cards for the staff working in the nursing home that take care of my mother and also cared for my grandmother who recently passed. Now is the perfect time to say thanks to all the medical staff who are helping take care of us during this difficult time fighting the Covid-19 virus. My Favorite Things is generously offering several of their nurse and Dr. stamps as FREE digital downloads through 4/30/20, so I used them to make my cards. I’ll show you how to resize PDF images and how to color them with Prismacolor Pencils using a blending solution in my latest video.
I created this fun Easter card with products I have on hand since it’s hard right now to shop for new crafting supplies because of the virus. I used stamps from Gerda Steiner, Tri-Blend Markers for coloring and Masking Magic sheets to mask my ink blended background.
If you’re stuck at home and bored the Save the Crafty Youtuber hop (started by Justine Hovey) is here to help. Bounce along the hop, learn new techniques, ideas, and tutorials and leave comments to be entered to win prizes. I used one of the new Whimsical and Wild stamp sets from Jane Davenport to create a fun Alice in Wonderland themed card. I used Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz to watercolor the image and added a few tea charms to finish it off.

I recently was able to try out The Glaminator machine from Xyron. This machine can do hot and cold laminating as well as add foil to your paper crafting projects.
I filmed a video on how the machine works with some tips and tricks, card samples and easy projects. Click here to watch my video on Youtube or check it out below.
This sweet fairy is visiting another fairy friend to bring them some flowers. I shopped my stash (using product I already own instead of buying new) using a digital stamp from Sweet November.
I used stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird for this sweet Fairy Friendship card. I used Tri-Blend markers from Spectrum Noir to color my images. This card is perfect for birthdays, thank you or Valentine’s Day cards.
