These fun Penguin Cards have a bit of a masculine feel and would perfect for the guys on your Holiday card list this year. The blue card is also a great Hanukkah card too. I used the Holiday Penguin stamps from My Favorite Things and colored them with Tri-Blend Markers for some quick and easy cards.
Either this dog and cat are being Nice and helping to decorate the Christmas Tree or being Naughty and pulling off ornaments, you decide 🙂
I combined three different stamp sets from My Favorite Things for these card and colored them with Tri-Blend Markers. I’ll also show you how to create a detailed wavy card band with dies or an easier diagonal band.

A couple of weeks ago I shared a Bunny Winter Scene Card and decided to make 3 more cards using the same design but with different animals. I love using soft pastel colors for winter scenes.
Using the new First Snow stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird I created this cute Holiday card. I wanted to use non-traditional colors so I went with a pinky-peach that I thought worked well with the bunnies. I colored my images in using Tri-Blend Markers from Spectrum Noir.
The rustic look is super trendy right now and I know everyone is pressed for time during the holidays so I wanted to make a quick and easy card with that nice rustic look. I used the Ready for Christmas stamps from Stampin’ Up and some left over embellishments from Paper Pumpkin kits.
I made this fun skating snowman card with a stamp from Stamin’ Up’s Spirited Snowmen set using a reverse image or mirror stamping technique. The Frost White Shimmer Paint makes the perfect ice for the reflection!

I know it’s a bit early for some to start thinking about the holidays but for stampers, card makers and crafters this is the time companies start releasing their new holiday products and it’s never too early to start working on your holiday crafts.
I’m really excited to have the chance to preview a new stamp and die set from Stampin’ Up. The Carols of Christmas bundle has a lovely stamp set with a coordinating die set. If you’d like to read more about you can click here and can hop over to Craft Gossip and read the article I wrote.
I’ve also got a card tutorial up on my Youtube channel and you can watch that by clicking here. Happy Holidays!? 🙂
Winter is finally here, it was 17 degrees yesterday when I woke up, brrrr!
To get in the mood for this frigid weather I made this adorable, abominable snowman card using stamps from Lawn Fawn.
Here’s how…..
Supplies- Light blue, pale blue, tan and white cardstocks; Lawn Fawn” Yeti” and “Critters in the Snow” (snowflakes)Â stamp sets; blue and black inks, jute string, alcohol markers, foam tape
– First cut a piece of light blue cardstock in half and fold for the card base
-Next cut a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and cut a pale blue piece to 5″ long and using your scissors cut a wave shape across the top
– Next trim a tan piece of cardstock to 5″ x 3 3/4″ and randomly stamp snowflakes with blue ink. Tip: Place several clear snowflake stamps onto the same block to make stamping quicker. Next stamp the words in black.
– Adhere the tan piece of cardstock on top of the white then adhere the blue wave piece, wrap a 24″ piece of hemp string around the bottom, tie in a knot and fray the edges. Adhere this to the cardstock base.
– On white cardstock using black ink stamp the yeti and color with alcohol markers and cut out. Mount him to your card using foam tape.
