I used stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird for this sweet Fairy Friendship card. I used Tri-Blend markers from Spectrum Noir to color my images. This card is perfect for birthdays, thank you or Valentine’s Day cards.
A couple of weeks ago I shared a Bunny Winter Scene Card and decided to make 3 more cards using the same design but with different animals. I love using soft pastel colors for winter scenes.
I created this spooky Halloween Shadow Box using products from Tim Holtz and items from the craft store. It would be the perfect center piece for a haunted Halloween table. I filmed a video on how to make one, you can click here to watch it in HD on my Youtube channel or check it out down below.
Here are my last Mermaid themed cards for Mer-May. I’ve made two more card using the Seas the Day stamps and dies from Hello Sweetums. They are an Australian based company but not to worry if you’re in the US you can get them on-line at Simon Says Stamp and Butterfly Reflections Ink.
For my first card shown above I created a fun scene inspired by The Little Mermaid during the “Under the Sea” scene, using the seaweed to create a wreath around my mermaid adding in all the sea creatures and shells swimming around. I colored my images with alcohol based markers and white heat embossed my sentiment.
For my next card I wanted it to look like you were looking out of a porthole on a submarine at a mermaid swimming by and being a Beatles fan I used yellow cardstock for a Yellow Submarine. I made my porthole with 2 concentric circle dies and brads. Opening the card shows the entire underwater scene inside on an ink blended background with torn cardstock sand. I colored my images with alcohol based markers adding touches with a white gel pen.
Wow, Hero Arts has turned 45 this year! So to celebrate I decided to get out a couple of my favorite Hero Arts stamps from years past and make a pretty watercolor and embossed card.
In another attempt to use stamps for different occasions then they were designed I’ve used a fox from the Winter is Coming set from Hello Bluebird on this Spring Pinwheel card. I also used a woodgrain die from Lawn Fawn for a windy sky. I made the cute little 3D pinwheels from paper patterns, they are so fun to add to cards.
This sweet ducklings card would be perfect for a spring baby. I used the Fable Friends stamps, Stitched Rectangle dies, Gingham Gala papers and watercolor pencils, all from Stampin’ Up to create it.
