I used only pattern papers (no stamping) along with some dies to create these quick and easy dog and cat cards. I used the new Playful Pets Design Series Papers from Stampin Up along with some of their dies and an embossing folder. Visit my Youtube chanel to watch my video tutorial or check it out down below.
Using a Peony stamp set from Recollections from Michael’s I created three different cards each with a different technique. In my video I’ll show you some easy techniques for ink blending with masking, coloring with pencils on dark cardstock and ink smooshing.
I don’t normally do simple cards but I want to challenge myself to create some. Using brown instead of black ink helps giving a softer storybook look.
He says “Have Flurries of Fun”! I created this cute foxes in the snow scene card using the First Snow stamps and dies and the Tree House die, all from Hello Bluebird. I LOVE the Tree House die, it works so well with so many other Hello Bluebird sets.
